Terms of Service

The Service

VerbVault is a language learning workspace that allows users to organise vocabulary, sentences, dialogs, grammar notes, songs, documents, and other study materials in one place, and track their knowledge status across all content. VerbVault is operated by an individual seller trading as VerbVault, based in India.

The service is available at hello.verbvault.app. These Terms govern your use of the service.

Your Account

To use VerbVault you must create an account, either with an email and password or via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account with others.

You must be at least 13 years old to use VerbVault. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or are used for any unlawful purpose.

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all VerbVault features and no limits. No payment is required to start a trial.

At the end of the trial period, your account automatically transitions to the permanent Free tier. Your existing content is preserved — you simply cannot add new content beyond the Free tier limits until you upgrade.

Subscriptions and Billing

VerbVault Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription. Pricing is displayed on the Billing page and varies by region.

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from the billing management page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.

Tax (including VAT and GST where applicable) is collected and remitted by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted within the applicable window. To request a refund, email hello@verbvault.app with your account email and order details.

Your Content

All study content you add to VerbVault — vocabulary lists, sentences, songs, documents, and any other materials — belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

By adding content to VerbVault, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to you within the service. We do not share your content with other users or third parties.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you add does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights. VerbVault is a personal study tool — it is intended for your own private study, not for publishing or distributing copyrighted material.

You can export your content at any time using the Excel download feature available in the app.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VerbVault to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use automated means to access or scrape the service
• Resell or sublicence access to the service

Service Availability

We aim to keep VerbVault available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.

Disclaimer of Warranties

VerbVault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VerbVault and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@verbvault.app. Upon deletion, your personal data and study content will be removed within 30 days.

We may terminate your account if you violate these Terms. In cases of serious violation, termination may be immediate without notice. In other cases, we will provide reasonable notice.

If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any subscription fees paid.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of VerbVault shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of VerbVault after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

For significant changes, we will notify you by email if you have an account with us.
